Recently I have noticed a word appearing more and more online in my Academy community and it makes me pull a sad face. It begins a Facebook post or preludes a conversation, creeping around inconspicuously like we haven’t even noticed. Stealing our self worth and dragging us down.

Well you sneaky MF, I’m here to out you! I see you and I don’t give you the validation anymore. What is the word? It’s so simple and so small but it gives away SO much of our power:

“SORRY”

Say what? How can that sweet and innocent word be the cause of so much suffering?!

Sorry is a joy stealer, sorry takes our power away from us. In the Academy Prep Week I noticed that so many gorgeous Goddesses would start a sentence with, “Sorry for the way…..” or “ Sorry that my introduction was so long…” or, “Sorry my hair is such a mess in this video…” and I want to tell you:

You don’t have to be sorry for who you are.

You don’t have to be sorry for wanting to grow and change.

You don’t have to be sorry for living a vibrant healthy happy life.

And you definitely don’t have to be sorry for standing in your power and telling the world what you want.

Stop waiting for a permission slip to express who you really are. I want to see YOU, all of you, without an apology!

You are a Goddess, and you deserve to be living a life that fills you up so spectacularly, your soul sings with joy at every goddamn given moment.

Make the choice to overflow your self worth well with so much love and abundance that ‘sorry’ isn’t even an option anymore.

We can often get sooooo paralysed with this fear of what other people think of us, but the truth is, nobody is ever judging you as harshly as you’re judging yourself. The more you practice self love, the less you will judge yourself at all. Love will be the default setting.

And similarly…the more you love your choices, the less you “need” others to love them.

The more you support yourself, the less you “need” others to support you.

The more you validate yourself, the less you “need” others to validate you.

It all starts with you, as always.

Know your worth, Goddess.

You are important, you are beautiful, you are worthy of love. You matter.

Love, always –
