INGREDIENTS
1 pineapple
1 full bunch of celery stalks (usually around 5-6)
2 whole cucumbers
2 limes
1/2 inch Ginger Root
Optional: 1 avocado. This is if you want to turn your juice into a more creamy and satisfying blend afterwards.
METHOD
Remove skin from pineapple. You can do this using a large kitchen knife or a bread knife.
Optional – you may have to also remove the skin on your limes, depending on your juicer. You can do this with a small fruit knife or peeler.
Juice all of the ingredients APART from the avocado.
Juice the pineapple, cucumbers, celery, and limes in your juicer.
Ta-dah you’ve made Green Juice Goddess!
Optional – Transfer some of your green juice to a blender, cut your avocado in half and remove the stone – then scoop your avocado into the blender, and whizz up.
And voila – You’ve made an amazing smoothie!
NOTES
This juice is a perfect pick me up after the heaviness that Christmas can bring to your digestive system! I use a Sage Nutri Juicer Pro, which is a centrifugal model. I absolutely love it, it’s easy to clean and assemble, and it takes me no time at all to make my juices in the morning. I have also used and loved Philips juicers.
I always like green juice because of it’s healthy benefits. I also like green smoothie. But this green juice recipe is really fantastic. I am too exited to make it.
